“Now, oh, let me tell you about my morning rainbow of flavors … pan dulce mexicano ”” Mexican sweet bread with cold milk, hot chocolate, or coffee and milk.

In my biweekly visit to Panaderia Corona (Tennyson and Tampa), I marvel at their daily fresh collection. Just as there are Twinkies, Ho Hos and SnoBalls in Anglo culture, we have our agualulco, alamar, banderilla, barra de mantequilla, beso, bola de cristal, capote, campechana, chilindrina, churro, cocol, concha, cuello, cuerno (fino, biscocho, danes), garibaldi, granada, guadalupana, guayaba, hoja, huarache, ladrillo, leo, llave, magdalena, mantecada, melon, moo, nube, ojaldra, paloma, panadero blanco, pedo de monja, picon (de cruz), rosca de manteca, saladito, sema (con ajonjoli, polvada), telera, terron, tortuga, tostado, volcan and zapote.”

Please notes some (many) sites require registration. Many times it is free.
