“Labor advocates demonstrated at a Target store in the Riverdale section of the Bronx yesterday, protesting conditions at a Mexican costume factory where they say workers have been illegally locked out.

Jorge Perez Ibarra, a representative of the Labor Federation of Workers, said a majority of the employees have petitioned to be represented by his union. He said the Queens-based Rubie’s Costume Company locked out the workers in June at the company’s factory in Tepeji del Rio, Mexico.”
