Knowledge is Power!
“The Hispanic Council for Reform and Education Options (Hispanic CREO) will host its 2005 conference October 13-15, 2005 in Dallas. With a theme of “Seize the American Dream: Parents Leading The Movement,” the event features national Hispanic leaders, including George P. Bush, Ted Cruz and Jon Secada.
The event – the group’s third annual conference — includes a gala and HEROES awards, breakout sessions and “El Grito Del Pueblo”, a town hall open to the public. The conference’s goal is to reaffirm the great interest from parents, educators and legislators to ensure access to excellent educational opportunities for Hispanic families, and discuss the challenges and work ahead to achieve educational equality.”
