So I don’t really watch that much tv, afterall I have the internet, but last night I was watching because, well I am hooked on Lost. Anyway, I noted three Hispanic related things that I thought I would share. I think they were all on ABC, but the first one I am not sure of.
- I saw a bilingual Cheerios commercial where a family was sitting around a table eating breakfast. The fact that they were predominately speaking in Spanish is what caught my attention. Granted it wasn’t all in Spanish, but a good part of it was.
- I saw a promo for the new Freddie Prinze Jr. show "Freddie" set in Chicago
- First, in the promo there is a bit in Spanish between his character’s abuela and a girlfriend?
- The theme music was Sugar Daddy from Yerba Buena
- Late at night I saw Sofia Vergara on the Jimmy Kimmel promoting her new show the punny ‘Hot Properties’
I guess Hispanics in Prime Time is gaining ground. Except the two shows will probably be cancelled fairly soon. Just my two cents.
