Some in El Paso wanted Hispanic nominated to Supreme Court

The president’s nomination was a disappointment to some in El Paso who had hoped to see a Hispanic on the nation’s highest court.

“It is time for a lot more racial diversity on the Supreme Court,” said Annabell Perez, the president-elect of the El Paso Mexican American Bar Association.
