“Having a million-dollar view creates some multimillion-dollar headaches for people on Kansas City’s West Side.

That was the update from a three-hour walking tour through the city’s oldest Hispanic community. Rita Valenciano, Kathy Kirby and Alice Gomez pointed to in-fill housing, rehabilitated homes, a movie , the Irene Ruiz Branch and the Tony Aguirre Community Center”
