BOISE — This morning, members of an Hispanic student organization from Boise State University are gathering outside of a Boise high school to protest a flier recently distributed in a nearby neighborhood.

The flier distributed to homes near Centennial High School said a a violent gang from Los Angeles had moved into the area and attacked children. And it said that police were warning residents to be on the lookout for young Hispanic groups.

And guess what, it isn’t true.
