Gloria Estefan tells tender story in first children’s book

“She’s from Colombia, South America. When I saw her trying so hard to be like our Dalmatians, I thought this dog really stood out,” said Estefan whose new children’s book, “The Magically Mysterious Adventures of Noelle the Bulldog” (HarperCollins, $17.99), is due in bookstores Tuesday. “It kind of reminded me of our (Cuban) immigrant story” and how people work to fit in.”
