Anyone who caught the Luna Negra Dance Company during its season at the Athenaeum Theatre in March will know that the Latino-based troupe is on the rise — an ensemble of exceptionally polished, individualistic dancers supported by seductive music, lovely design and a repertoire featuring work by an eclectic mix of Latin choreographers, including its Cuban-born artistic director, Eduardo Vilaro.
