A first: Latin Grammys rock
Tagged: Argentina, Carlos Vives, Colombia, Juanes, UruguayThe producer of the year nominees for the upcoming 2005 Latin Grammys may represent the first shift toward rock singer-songwriters in the awards’ history.
…But this year, three of the five – Sebastian Krys, Gustavo Santaolalla and Afo Verde – worked on groundbreaking albums by rock artists Juanes and Carlos Vives from Colombia, Diego Torres from Argentina, La Vela Puerca from Uruguay and JD Natasha from Miami. The other nominees are Paco De Lucia and Sergio George.
