Joseph Unanue has lost his legal battle to get a pension and retirement perks from Secaucus-based Goya Foods Inc., the company he built up and led for 27 years.

The ruling all but concludes the legal battle between two factions of the Unanue family, which owns Goya, the nation’s largest Hispanic-owned food company. Goya has annual sales of about $750 million.
