Knowledge is Power!
A new Spanish-language public education campaign is aimed at Latina women to help them make everyday choices that can dramatically improve their health and the health of their community. The campaign, called Viva Bien, was launched in June by Kaiser Permanente, the American Cancer Society, the American Diabetes Association, and the American Heart Association.
“Latina women are the heart and center of families,” said Beverly Hayon, senior media consultant for Kaiser Permanente. “They have the power to change their families’ health habits,” she said.
