Ethnic media representatives from across southern California gathered at the UCLA campus on Sept. 24 for an all-day development seminar cosponsored by NCM, the University of California Office of the President (UCOP) and UCLA. Some 120 participants filled 11 workshops, including three in Spanish.
Opening Session
“UC’s sponsorship marks an historic recognition by the state’s premier educational institution of ethnic media’s key role in California’s communications,” said NCM director Sandy Close.
