Knowledge is Power!
Cuyahoga Community College’s Western Campus, 11000 Pleasant Valley Road in Parma, will present Cathy Areu, the publisher, founder and owner of Catalina magazine and one of America’s most prominent Hispanic women in journalism, at 11 a.m. Thursday, October 13 in the Western Campus Theatre.
Areu’s appearance, which is free and open to the public, kicks off Tri-C’s Diversity Speaker Series, “A Celebration of Hispanic Culture.”
Areu, as the publisher and sole owner of Catalina magazine, a national lifestyle publication for the “mind, body and soul of today’s Latina.” Her bi-monthly publication has become the voice of the nation’s Latina community.
