Hundreds of Latino Lawyers & Leaders to Convene in Washington, D.C. for 30th Annual Convention, Oct. 16-19

The Hispanic National Bar Association (HNBA) will host their 30th Annual Convention, “Unidos in Washington: A Capital Experience”, from Oct. 16 to Oct. 19, at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Washington, D.C. The President of the United States serves as Honorary Chairman of the Convention and the White House will host a briefing on Monday, Oct. 17. United States Senators Ken Salazar and Mel Martinez serve as Honorary Co-Chairs and will co-host “A Salute to Public Service” reception at the Smithsonian Castle on Tuesday, Oct. 18. On Monday, Oct. 17, Ambassador Carlos Alberto de Icaza of the Embassy of Mexico will present his government’s distinguished Ohtli Award to an HNBA member. This historic convention is co-hosted by the Hispanic Bar Association of the District of Columbia who will serve as the co-host of the Equal Justice Awards Luncheon to take place during the convention.
