Gerardo wants to know if Star Wars: Episode III “is a quasi-Hispanic film” because Jimmy Smits, “one of the most important Hispanic actors in the world and pride of Puerto Rico” is in the film.
It is an interesting question, but I don’t think so and I am trying to come up with an analogy but my fever-adled brain isn’t helping much.
How about if a corporation hires one latino, is the business a latino business? Even if the the latino is the new CEO. Plus I believe that all the Stars movies fall into the Scifi category automatically. Is the Empire Strikes Back in the same category as Barbershop because of Lando? Why do we even have to label these things anyway?
