Spanish Broadcasting System, Inc. (Nasdaq: SBSA - News) announced today that Enrique Santos, co-host of the popular morning show El Vacilon de la Manana airing weekdays from 6:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Miami’s WXDJ-FM (”El Zol 95″), has decided to run for the office of Mayor of the City of Miami.

Consistent with the rules and regulations of the Federal Communications Commission (”FCC”), Santos will not be heard on WXDJ-FM until after the election is concluded.
