Latino Artist Exhibition Coming to the L.A. County Fair

The L.A. County Fair is hosting a Latino Art Exhibit that promises to capture the eye and the mind of the beholder with its powerful theme of the search for cultural identity.

The exhibit put on by the Millard Sheets Gallery, is titled Latino Artist of Los Angeles-Defining Identity. The exhibition will examine the question of identity for the Latino artist by observing the influential work of artists from the birth of Chicano art in 1965 through the present, as well as taking a closer look at how the new generation of artists benefit from the influence and mentoring of the Chicano pioneers, some of who continue to work today.
