CHARLOTTE – Jane Neese, Associate Dean for Academic Affairs at The University of North Carolina at Charlotte’s College of Health and Human Services, is one of 21 N.C. health care professionals traveling to Mexico Sept. 25 to observe Mexico’s health care delivery system.

North Carolina led the nation with the highest percentage growth of its Latino population from 1990 to 2000 (U.S. Census). As a result, hospitals, clinics and health departments throughout the state are seeing many more Latino patients than in previous years, presenting a host of challenges, not just language differences.
