Building on the success of its inaugural 2004 fundraiser, the National Association for Multi-ethnicity in Communications (NAMIC), Atlanta chapter, continued its commitment to providing students and parents in the Atlanta community with increased access to the latest educational technology and research tools with this year’s Digital Bridge event, themed Communication Connects. On August 18, 2005, more than 250 people attended this exciting community event which raised funds to help NAMIC-Atlanta establish a computer center at the Latin American Association facilities for use by local students and parents that would not otherwise have ready access to PCs, Internet and other learning tools.
