City’s Hispanics urged to voice concerns

The leader of the nation’s largest Hispanic advocacy organization urged Oklahoma City Hispanics on Tuesday to make their voices heard in the halls of power.

“We need your voices at school board meetings, in union halls, in state legislatures, in corporate board meetings — even in your neighborhood block associations,” said Janet Murguia, president of the National Council of La Raza.
