Univision’s tongue-in-cheek awards draw viewers
Tagged: Film, Premios Juventud, UnivisionWith categories such as Paparazzi’s Favorite Target, CD to Die For and Best Moves, Univision’s second annual Premios Juventud (Youth Awards) is shaking off the seriousness of the network’s other award shows and borrowing the irreverence and humor of the MTV Movie Awards.
Premios Juventud, airing live at 8 p.m. Thursday on WLTV-Ch. 23, recognizes all things hot among young Hispanics in film, music, sports, fashion and pop culture. The awards, in 28 unconventional categories, are determined by public vote.
