Cuban-American Gerardo Williams was surprised to hear Lauderhill was throwing its first Hispanic Festival on Sunday.
…
“It’s about time,” said Williams, who walked to the festival with his wife and 2-year-old daughter from their home in Sunrise. “It’s nice we have it close to home, very nice. And they say it’s going to be every year. That’s perfect.”
