His San Marcos Mariachi Academy, which recently moved into a permanent location on Hunter Road, is a school for students of all ages and skill levels to learn all types of instruments, ranging from piano, saxophone, violin and percussion to traditional Mariachi instruments such as the guitarron, a larger, deeper version of a typical acoustic guitar.
