Comic skillfully portrayed

A major portion of Cantinflas!, an original show about legendary Mexican comic actor Mario Moreno, is in Spanish. As Moreno, portrayed by actor Herbert Siguenza, explains, his unique twisting of his native tongue is impossible to translate into English.

But if your Spanish skills have lapsed, as mine have, don’t worry. Much of the show’s hilarity comes from the loose-limbed physical comedy of the “Charlie Chaplin of Mexico,” who was much better known by the nickname Cantinflas.
