Hispanic Radio Snags Significant Increase in Market Share
Tagged: radio, San Jose, Spanish-languageClear Channel’s Spanish-language formatted stations, launched as part of a programming initiative that began last fall, saw their average quarter hour (AQH) share increase significantly from spring 2004 to spring 2005, the company announced today. For example, Spanish-language formats that boosted AQH share of the entire market, persons 12+, include: KSJO-FM serving San Jose, Calif., registered a 130 percent increase in AQH share versus last year and Las Vegas-based KWID-FM increased its AQH share by 83 percent.
