Film on Latino players makes it to Spike TV

The filmmaker’s passion for baseball, rooted in his Brooklyn childhood and exposure to the Dodgers and Giants organizations, made it impossible for him to quit.

Seven years later, Spike TV finally picked up Viva Baseball!, a film portraying the “struggles, conflicts and triumphs” of Latinos in professional baseball. It will premiere Sept. 23 at 9 p.m.
