Freddy Peralta was registering a car in the Fayette County Clerk’s Office last week when he saw signs emblazoned with “NO HAY AYUDA EN ESPANOL.”

The signs, which were taped to the clerks’ windows of the vehicle transfer room, translate to: “there is no help in Spanish.”
