Music, dance, food and literature rooted in the region’s rich Mexican culture are on display starting this week with several events in Chandler as part of Hispanic Heritage Month.
Started in 1998 as a way for the area’s Hispanic population to share its customs with the greater community, Chandler’s recognition of Hispanic heritage is an opportunity for those unfamiliar with it to learn and for those in the Hispanic community to celebrate time-honored traditions.
