U.S. Treasurer Anna Escobedo Cabral will be visiting the High Desert on Sept. 17 to deliver a keynote speech for the High Desert Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Installation and Awards Banquet.

After Attorney General Alberto Gonzales, Escobedo Cabral is the second highest ranking Hispanic in the Bush administration.
