Mexican laborers say nicknames not only unite and identify but have become increasingly popular on the airwaves of a local radio station. More than 90 days after a Mexican radio program, La Maquina Musical, debuted on a nondenominational Christian radio WAPN 91.5 FM, nicknames have helped make the show the station’s most listened to, said General Manager MachelleLund-Vallance.
