Evidently, Hispanic magazine editors place high value on clogged freeways, unaffordable housing and earthquakes.

I say “evidently” because I couldn’t reach anyone at the magazine on Thursday. From 10 a.m. until 5 p.m., the line was busy.

Hispanic reports that the median price of homes in San Antonio is $123,000. In Los Angeles, it’s $474,700.

I don’t know about you, but that makes me wonder: If only affluent Hispanics can afford to buy homes in Los Angeles, why is it such a great place to live?
