The U.S. Department of Education granted Rocky Mountain Public Broadcasting Station (PBS) $5.1 million for a math education program targeting Spanish-speaking students, it was announced Monday.

The grant award will enable Rocky Mountain PBS to expand and evaluate the Help with English Language Proficiency (HELP) program, which teaches math by removing English language barriers for people learning English.
