Charter to Carry TuTv Networks in Select Markets
Tagged: Reno, Spanish-language, televisa, TuTv, UnivisionCharter Communications, Inc. (Nasdaq: CHTR) and TuTv, a joint venture of Grupo Televisa, S.A. (NYSE: TV; BMV TLEVISA CPO) and Univision Communications Inc. (NYSE: UVN) today announced a carriage agreement under which Charter will carry the TuTv networks in select markets. TuTv has five Spanish-language networks and the agreement enables Charter to offer them as part of its Charter Latino package, which targets the Hispanic market. Initial launches will include systems in Los Angeles, Reno, Riverside, St Louis and the state of Washington.
