With the new partnership, Google is now promising to deliver more relevant Spanish language search results to flagship Web property Univision.com’s millions of users. According to a study conducted by Nielsen Media Research, Univision.com is the most visited Spanish-language Web site among Spanish-dominant and bilingual Hispanic Internet users 16 years of age or older.

Univision’s deal with Google should also open up the rapidly growing Hispanic online audience to a wider array of advertisers, particularly as the search advertising market remains red hot. A recent study released by America Online and Roper Public Affairs found that half of online Hispanics are now using high-speed Internet connections.
