Jobs are slowly returning to the Texoma area, and California-based Ruiz Foods is one of the reasons why. The company expects to hire its largest group of team members in the fourth quarter of 2005. Currently involved in renovating the 263,000-square-foot facility that was formerly the Pillsbury building, the company hopes to be in production in Denison by late 2005.

The nation’s largest frozen Mexican food manufacturer, Ruiz Foods, was cited in the June issue of Hispanic Business magazine - ranked third in the top 10 U.S. Hispanic-owned manufacturing companies in the U.S.; second in the top 10 U.S. Hispanic-owned food manufacturing companies in the U.S.; first among the top 10 U.S. Hispanic-owned companies in the state of California; and 18 in the top 500 Hispanic-owned businesses in the U.S.
