San Jose’s 14th Annual International Mariachi Festival has been over for nearly two weeks, but the sound of its success continues to reverberate.

The outstanding performances, standing ovations and record profits were a much-needed boost for the festival organizer, the Mexican Heritage Corp., which has been beset by money and management woes.
