Immigrants to U.S. use less health care than natives, study says
One key statistic showed that the Hispanic immigrant averaged only $962 a year in health-care costs, half the $1,870 in care used by a Hispanic born here, when adjusted for age, severity of illness and other factors, according to the report in the August issue of the American Journal of Public Health.
