Immigrant rights groups are furious about a Columbia County Republican Party resolution calling for elected officials to stop illegal immigrants from coming into Oregon.

The resolution states that illegal immigrants, “do not have allegiance to the United States,” they eat up social services and commit too many crimes, and the stream of drugs from Mexico is fueling Oregon’s methamphetamine problem.
