This is the 16th and final installment in a series about the impact of the Hispanic population of Morristown and Hamblen County.
As both legal and illegal immigrants from Latin and Central America, including Mexico, Honduras, Guatemala, Nicaragua, and Venezuela (to name a few), cross the United States borders, many states and towns in America claim to have the greatest population of Latino immigrants. There is no method of “record keeping” at American borders nor are census reports reliable, considering many undocumented immigrants do not participate in the census.
