The scholarships are available through the Healthcare Opportunities for Latino Advancement (HOLA) program. HOLA is designed to improve the quality of nursing care for the Hispanic population in Siouxland and increase the bilingual Hispanic nursing workforce. The program has been funded by Mercy since 2004.
